The Liberia Land Authority has announced that newly prepared deeds must use an LLA-approved form, with LLA verification and approval before submission to the Probate Court and subsequent registration.
What changes for applicants
Applicants should obtain the approved form, submit it for LLA review, and only then proceed to probate. The platform records each step so applicants can follow their file online.
Older deeds remain valid records
Deeds prepared on earlier forms are not invalidated by this requirement. The verification portal labels them as legacy-form instruments.
